Messing around with units.

Felt trapped today and so wanted to draw something of the sensation.

(colors w/ mouse 'cause i'm too lazy to plug in my tablet and wait for it to respond)

It's been a long day. Things went well, but I'm pretty tired! I only got one set of croquis done today so I'll post all the pictures from it.

I listened to shitty emo music all day and drew this mess and fuck it.

i will draw the first comment left on this post as my submission for tomorrow. you can be as specific or vague as you want, and i will interpret it however i want.

finally done w/ this. i'm kind of not as proud about it as i was when i started out, but w/e. i experimented w/ using selective outlines and some other things.

I repeated the muscle buildup process with the neck. Added ears, hair and some earrings. Rendered with Cycles. Call it done.

Didn't turn out so nice. Ink dries about half as dark as it is when wet. So I had some really nice textures but not nearly dark enough! I overworked it and now it looks meh. I did learn a lot about how watercolour ground behaves with ink though, and if I can secure proper, darker ink I'll get very nice results

Still a work in progress, but looking to finish it today with a couple simple variations for different heights and widths. Also considering making foxholes or mounds, but not sure. I'll be making the stone thicker on this one.

EDIT: This thing is so hideous, I'm getting rid of it entirely and replacing it with something else.
