Experimenting depth using color. I did this experiment for 70 minutes, including the too-failed one that I deleted. I am still not good on using depth.

After examining a lot of reference, I decided to use the color to set the depth. I also used the darker color to make it look farther. After that, I tested using the girl I made several days ago to test the depth. I am planning to do this experiment again in future, especially I will need it if I am going to make a game again which in the past I didn't use it which made my game background looked duller.

continuing to practice a new style.

This is a couple days old actually, but I went back and added some more pencil and marker today.

Opted for a yellower color palette and a different style for some plants/flowers at the tree bases. Working on my nonlinear thinking, trying to be a bit more chaotic in my drawing. Tried to model Chrono Trigger bushes, with some degree of success.

What if this popped out of ice cream cones?

stumbled upon this website and I love the idea of it... hopefully I can stick with it!

The lighting and positioning you decide on the fingers can make your hands look alien if done wrong. Note the borders of the skin also can give depth without actually doing it yourself!

Art dump! Woo! I finished day 12 which was draw yourself as a Pokemon Trainer with one of your team members (though I drew several). Day 13 was draw your favorite Pokemon when you first heard about the Pokemon series. The first Pokemon game I played was Crystal, so here's an ode to my first starter, Typhlosion. I kinda liked the sketch more than the colored one, but I'm getting better with coloring! It's all watercolor.

Still praticing grayscale, but trying to use it in my drawings.

I've been working in my sketchbook for the entire day today. I want to try applying the manga screentones I picked up to some of these drawings but the process is a bit intimidating.
