It's time I started concepting enemies because this game will definitely have enemies. They represent the obstacles one must overcome when going through a difficult time, a time of grieving and of growth. Every bullet spent on these obstacles is a bit of emotion, that precious resource. There must be some way to bring them down without emotionally exhausting yourself. If only you could trip them up...
Today I was trying to draw a real object. My recurve bow!
Did I succeed? Maybe if I had more time I could've done better, but today Was just a really off day. *ugh* I'll try this drawing another time when I have a whole day to work on it.
I used my time on my Write Streak submission today, so I didn't have time to draw much. As consolation, take this rough sketch of the Hare, one of the more frightening of the Woodland creatures...
I rely too much on reference photos sometimes. Tried relying less on them for this (just a little bit to get an idea of the shapes)
I just discovered SculptGL... amazing software. http://stephaneginier.com/
Will finish this tomorrow by adding the shading, because it is almost midnight here and I'm super tired. Having a LOT of fun drawing every day. I've been meaning to start drawing regularly again for YEARS and Streak Club is what finally did it!! :D
I had an appointment today with my game design/development tutor, so I didn't have much time to work on any full scale illustrations today. Warmups only for today!
A bud requested Elon Musk riding a Strangelove-ian rocket. I have no idea. I'm just following orders!
