Super garbage drawings based on some drawings tutorials. The photos actually look better than the drawings.

I really really want to be able to animate cloth one day soon. By the end of this streak I'd like to be able to make a nice robe animation in one sitting. Pixel art, too. I love nice flowy pixel cloth.

Made progress on the grayscale game today but nothing drawn to show.

I need to stop forgetting about this till the end of the day...

I didn't have the energy to make grayscale game art today. But I'm a dark mood. And god is dead or something.

These are obscenely simplistic, because I spent a lot of time today on the coding of my game. You can now move between these two areas, complete with collisions. Well, it mostly works, anyway.

It's time I started concepting enemies because this game will definitely have enemies. They represent the obstacles one must overcome when going through a difficult time, a time of grieving and of growth. Every bullet spent on these obstacles is a bit of emotion, that precious resource. There must be some way to bring them down without emotionally exhausting yourself. If only you could trip them up...

This is some kind of brain apparently? Trying to make more glowy statues. I also worked on controls and collisions for the actual game!

Idea for a tiny 2D shooter game ended up as an idea for an artsy pixel art game in grayscale. I think I finally found the direction I will approach learning art from with this! I'll learn about shades, lighting and shapes in this way before slowly increasing the size of my palette, and then moving up to less controlled art styles (pencil, paint, etc).

A very simple series of tiles made on a whim. Wanted to make something semi-animated.
