Wanted to draw a bit but drivers problems. Then need to reinstall them and too lazy to reboot my computer. XD

So I drew some – really – basic stuff to prototype some little 2D games.

As I don't have too much time I will add more content later, and after uploading the file I see that it's a bit crappy. =/

Experimenting on poses this time. I am still not good enough at posing so I tried with smaller sprite to pose it easier. It took 200 minutes to do this experiment included thinking what pose I should draw.

When posing using 4 colors, I still found some problems. It was when same color touched each other from different part of body. Perhaps I will research more on this in the future, especially in this experiment I was only focus on pose.

That fish is a bit weird, but I do love it tbh

breakdancing yo

i will put effort into my art

Alternate trees for my tileset to help vary up the patterns.

30 second gesture drawings + Solosis + Darumaka. Think the 30s warmups help get structure. Darumaka is off, but first attempt at my own skeleton / orientation.

Didnt notice, but already is two in the morning here in Brazil.

That means I'm pretty f*** up to wake up to college soon at 6 o'clock =x.

It's better this be helping me to improve my art skills ò,Ó

So the work on Around the World in 80 days continues. I'm worried that the scale of what I'm trying to accomplish is too much...

But I'm soldiering on!

Here is Passepartout standing, walking, carrying a bag (the life of a servant is rough...) and arguing with a Japanese merchant over the price of a pair of shoes (merchant not pictured, or even created yet...)

Plus, the work in progress shot of one of the trains you will be able to ride on. And you will spend a lot of time on trains.

real quick water tiles

Oops! I haven't been uploading for a few days (got super busy). Here's an in-progress shot of something I've been working on.

I love drawing trees. They are so alive to me with each branch sort of thinking its own thing.

My replacement Surface Pro 3 type cover arrived today! What a tease. The Pro 3 replacement has at least been shipped, so I'm looking forward to that. Today's art was done during work -- I spend a lot of time using art to impart agency in the minds of children, but it also helps making adults feel less afraid to take a risk. My coworkers are still trying to wrap their minds around not needing to be perfect in order to commit a drawing to paper. I'm looking forward to getting my computer back and not needing paper again for a while, though!
