time to learn how to draw backgrounds

well, time to get back to it! here are some drawings.
I spent this morning at a local drawing club doing life drawing sessions with a moving model. I attempted to draw the model as she moved as many times as I could. It was an interesting experience. The following is a selection of drawings from today's session.
Everything that could go wrong went wrong on this one - tracing, paper warping, trouble with the face - but I made it. I couldn't get her to smile, so she's grumpy instead. I'd be too if I had been locked in a tower my whole life.
Pretty happy with it overall! Next month: something different
