its the time of year where i redo a project, again.

i have SO Much trouble w this character u cant imagine... finding 1 measly drawing of them that i like is a task unlike any other. well anyways here u go

ive done a little fun experiment where i layer new art onto old sketches (ones from 2012)

heres the results!

i forgot i had an idea for a toadsona so i went ahead and drew it

his name should be really pretentious like Benedict Toadingham (the II), and hes really into "making a statement", regardless if his statement is actually important. this leads to him growing out his hair (which is a little weird for toads bc you usually braid it if ur gonna grow it out) and never listening to his family. they are "sheeple" to him.

his family consists of a bunch of toad guards who live rather well and dont do much actiony stuff. they just like, patrol the princess's garden. theyre nice, if a bit plain.

in an act of daring rebellion (read: useless teenage spite) he runs away from home and goes to visit a temple. im not sure what should happen next but: im so about toad monks. he should meet one.

im trying rly hard to make characters more varied and distinct

i think i'm gonna be working on that for a while
