Just got an Arsat-H 50mm f/2, it's the smallest f-mount lens I have and I quite like the look it produces
high contrast - not how i usually would edit something like this, kinda strays from the lens' character, but i quite like the drama of it
ended up underexposing this shot a bit too much, the sunset was only like that for a few minutes though
double exposed with the Df's onboard multi-exposure mode, pretty pleasing result, probably shouldve shot the portrait darker though
i think its just a tough shot to work with, shooting into the sun, underexposed/exposed for sky, and a bit too wide to really even see the birds well, but its what i got when i pulled over my car and ran at the birds to try to get something
next day edit: in reflection i think i actually did Pretty Good with the color edit

@0x35c these shots were both 1 second exposures, handheld, at 1.7 aperture and 200 ISO (my camera's base ISO, which I never leave). I kept the camera steady for most of the second, then swung it hard near the end. I took like 6 shots doing this and these two were the most pleasing.
In post I gave each shot a custom tone curve to deepen the shadows and brighten most of the rest. Topped it off with some RGB curves to give the image more of a blue/orange contrast. I do my edits in rawtherapee. c:
i genuinely wonder how did you manage to get everything clear while moving the camera for the lights ? (i'm new to photography)
the lights look like scratches on the right, i love that effect! sick colors too
