Still recovering from pretty severe burnout, but I think this work has been slowly paying off! I've never been able to draw all 9 of my OCs in a way that didn't immediately fill me with embarrassment. We'll see how it goes as I move forward! Onward...
Most of today's work was done traditionally, on screen. I have some screenshots that I shall post, but I have inked some of these by now (poorly at that). Onward...
I did a lot of things today, including finally nailing down a preliminary sketch for my 9 major OCs! Onward!
Today was a busy day. Focused on learning Arm anatomy today, drew figure drawings and then worked on a lineup of 9 of my OCs. Onward...
Anthem comes from a long line of people tasked with the protection of cyborgs everywhere, each taking the Anthem name as a mantle that is passed from one to the next. Being Anthem is a huge responsibility that one must devote themselves to fully, and each new Anthem gives part of themselves to enrich their successor and protect their people in times of crisis. Clef Corren has chosen to take the mantle from his father, Cliff, but has big shoes to fill to gain the trust of those he will protect and heal!
Continued working on the illustration from yesterday! I may have to scrap some of the bottom half of this version, I feel like I may have lost some of the attitude of the posing.
Worked on some art for Penbee of my character Anthem and her Sorcerer from her Dark Lord Grandma concept! When it's done, they will be swapping clothing.
I haven't been to work in a week - hopefully my dad's condition will improve enough by the coming week for me to resume my normal schedule!
I was working with PenBee today on a redesign of a robot character of hers, Thyme. I also worked on reference material of my own characters.
Streamed myself working on art for 7 hours today, after which point I continued working off stream. My favorite part of working on my character list is making each character's logo! I worked on some sketches as well as a pixel turnaround of my game's protagonist that I haven't gotten the chance to remake in a long time.
I slept most of today away, but still managed to get in a little sketching before it was too late. Today's sketches were part of a style exploration I'm doing for my game project. The results were middling at best. I don't know what this thing is that I drew for the first sketch, but I might play around with this design a bit!
Some sketches I'm working on -- one is for a client, one is for myself. Neither are finished. The cyborg kid is mine, his name is Anthem.
