I haven't submitted my art yet and time is running out. So, I made a simple text "Hello World!" :3.
Too simple, but that reminds me I need to give attention on my art skill on text too especially I usually made my own text art each time I made a game :3.
Right when i saved this everything froze and two of my harddrives died (this was on the third drive)
Uuuugh, it's been a long week. :P The only reason I have something to upload today is because it's part of my Dad's gift for Father's Day. I wanted to do something kind of personalized, and I thought this would be cool since his he graduated from Penn State (which is where I'm studying) and the mascot is a mountain lion. I'm kind of amazed I managed to get this done in a day. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get it printed on anything in time for Sunday, so his actual gift is going to be a little late. Hopefully he still likes it. :)
I've kind of found that merging layers in photoshop, when working on concept art, is really liberating. Keeping everything on a separate layer seems to not only be a huge hurdle when deciding to make a change, but also stifles creativity.
So, cheers to Merging Layers!
i started off drawing skeletons, then it dissolved into me drawing animal crossing doodles, then into me going back and developing my own style. i drew inspiration from some of my favorite artists on tumblr...
Tiger and Monkey done. (Would've been funnier if I could've done Tiger and Rabbit on the same pages, oh well) The three that are left'll be the hardest yet... (Ox, Horse, and Snake. Especially Snake)
Experimented with health bars for 45 minutes. I experimented the health bars at full state, damaged state, and decreasing state.
I also experimented the health bars with variant of shading and forms.
