A submission for Daily Art Club

Only slightly updated "tile" set. The real progress happened in programming an Importer for these Sprites, so I can draw an object in Photoshop, give it a layer name with ".png" and the Importer does most of the work of preparing it for use with the Level Editor.

nothing like celebrating a birthday as an adult by working a long shift then crashing in bed only to wake up past midnight when it's no longer the bdays

So I said I was going to try real art, and I tried, and I failed, and I realized that:

  1. Angled faces are hard since it is not as flat as side-view and not as symmetric as front-view
  2. I need to learn drawing angled faces because if I were to only draw from one perspective for game art, angled faces would probably be the best due to its ability to convey a 3d view of the character
  3. Lineart is hard due to shaky hands

I will probably spend the next couple of days drawing more faces in this angle with more hairstyles to brush up this essential skill.
