In order to address my weaknesses in proportion and draftsmanship, I have introduced a guide to confine my croquis work to. My goal is to be able to better recognize segments of a whole - to be able to tell if am halfway between a given distance. I have also done the same in my sketchbook, along with a pencil and marker sketch of a zombie ballerina by the request of one of my students.

Trying to stumble into a creepy, murder-y, serial killer-y face. I'll keep trying.
