Wanted to make character posing in pixel art. However, first I need to improve on posing so I chose traditional drawing to practice.
Did it using my pencil and my old draft of thesis. Instead of letting some pages empty, I filled it with creativity... or practice for the most.
I'm trying to get into the habit of thumbnails. It's hard! It's hard to make myself draw something more than once! As you can see! Drawing things really quickly and small-ly is pretty helpful, though.
i kept seeing these meet the artist memes(?) go around and I wanted to draw myself and try experimenting with a new style. i picked it up from drawing animal crossing characters, it just feels more natural to my hand...i'll have to work with this style a bit more to see if i really like it. i'll probably redo this once i figure out how to draw clothes...
I want to experiment with a variety of textured brushes and gradually build confidence in utilizing them together! I am hoping to do a continuous set of a minimum of 10/maximum of 100 different quick landscapes!|PB#DIGITAL BRUSH KEY (Quick Reference) [CANVAS BRUSH|WATERCOLOR|MR.NATURAL BRUSH @ Kyle T.Webster]
I forgot to upscale the source image before I worked on it, so I ended up with a 4mm pixel grid on the paper.
Improvised the curves a bit and it turned out much better than I expected!
Also I'm going low on gold paint, I'll have to rebuy some.
Also It's easier to tell from the cardboard in real life, quite hard to photograph.
