To our credit, we both typically last longer than this. I watched the bird that inspired this fight against the wind for 30 solid seconds before gliding to the ground and 'sploding. I usually last 15-20.

Anyway, first animation. I spent the entire Goddamn day on this. Yikes!

Summer is just around the corner. I think I'm feeling the desire for it. :)

I feel like my skills have fluctuated wildly this week - I feel like I have much less control over my arm this week than last week. Quite tired lately.

thinking about if/how i want to use this

I'm improving over time, but its slow going and I get frustrated.

Got all the lettering in, re-drew the bird, added more detail to the pin feathers, and moved "i'm breakin' loose" down in line with the bird cage. Outline ink coming soon, still gotta do some studies for the color before I try it out on this image.
