I think IndieDB popularity just works by number of visitors. For now I'm using Twitter (http://twitter.com/talecrafter), Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/deathtrashgame), Tumblr for the main page and now IndieDB. Have to be careful not too spend too much time on these places, but they are part of the plan for this game. I'm posting daily on Twitter.

The current plan looks like this:

1. Build up more interest in this game

2. Expand on the world by making more images and concepts

3. Work on a prototype for later this year that will have base gameplay mechanics, to get feedback on them.

If all goes well, it should open up opportunities. Greenlight will come later, when this get's more substantial.
