Used a more horizontal brush for "blocking in". I made it "dirty again" afterwards, can't help myself, but felt good to get new kind of initial forms.
Tried a different technique this time. Took a random "macro photo" of some stone, then used the colors and the shape as a rough base for overpainting. There is not a single element left of the photo now.

Slow week content-wise, but I made good coding progress this week. Have a tool now that converts Aseprite Animations to AnimatorControllers and AnimatorOverrideControllers in Unity. Will post this in the coming days.
I feel like there's a painting somewhere in there hiding I would like to see, but I have no further time searching for it.
