Assume the role of the Spirit Guide, the one who must find and ferry the living to the land of the dead. Every day more people die and require to be shown passage to the other side so they can pass peacefully, and it is your job to find them and deliver them safely. However the underworld can be a dark and treacherous place and with only your lantern to light the way it can be easy to get lost.

The game-play consists of moving across tiles, collecting lost souls, and avoiding enemies while making sure that you don't run out of lantern fuel. Each level is a puzzle, collect as many lost souls as you can and get to the exit before your lantern goes out. Every tile you move depletes an amount of fuel, this acts as a move counter and forces the player to think efficiently about their decisions.

Similar to Don't starve, the game would have a Tim Burton art style on the assets and character to enhance the creepy feeling of being in the underworld.

Play a small lowly human living in a world that has been taken over by the most powerful creatures in the world… cats. While humans lay complacent thinking that their pets were small minded and certainly not planning world domination there was an underground revolution going on. By the time they realised what was going on it was too late, now the entire population of humans are enslaved by cats. The cats, now free to do as they wish have run rampant in the streets, back alley cats trading catnip in the dark corners of the cities, pavements littered with empty tuna cans and cream bottles licked clean.

When a human turns 16 they must be judged by the great cat overlord, if they fail to impress the overlord then they will be taken away and used as slaves. The others will be allowed to live a decent life as pets to cats, living in the same way that cats did

The gameplay consists of doing your best to impress the cat overlord. The game is a trial and error game, pick from a series of different objects such as cat toys, heated cushions, and a keyboard in order to win over their affection. Depending what you do with the items determines whether you will live.

A game in which you battle other players in a furious hula hooping show down! Each player must press wiggle joysticks around in a circle in order to wiggle their bunny hips and get the hula hooping around.

The game is designed to be a furious controller smashing game that is perfect to play in a casual party environment, it doesn't require any skill or learning to start playing so anybody can join in to play. The longer the joystick is pushed around in a perfect circle the more points the player will earn, if the player messes up and stops spinning then they won't earn any points until they manage to twirl it around the bunnies body once again. As well as earning points, as you spin you float slowly up into the galaxy, the first player to reach the top of the hemisphere gets a point bonus. As they travel upwards there will be floating collectable points and powerups to tactfully float into. Because you can only travel upwards the player must carefully balance speed and keeping their hoop going in order to bump into the collectables as they float from one side of the screen to the other continuously.

This is a game inspired by the borrowers. Play as the only child in a family of tiny people living inside a small detailed doll house in a diorama museum. Ordered by your family never to exit the diorama house in which you live in until you come of age, you grow restless and discontent. After escaping one night to explore the museum you find out that the building is due to be destroyed and replaced with an apartment block. This sparks a search to band together with all the other families in the museum to save their building and all their homes.

The gameplay consists of exploring around the museum and visiting the families that live in there to try and get them to all band together. This will be achieved by completing quests for each of the family to earn their trust. Each family has something special about them and can be used in order to help the building be saved, whether they are able to use human pens, have human friends, or are especially good at stealing things, all of them are needed to be able to win the game. Each family will live in a different diorama section and each will be a different environment to explore through.

Your job is to create strange and mystical creatures from piles of bones you have excavated and try to pull them off as real animals that once roamed this earth. Being a fraud you don't care about discovering actual animals that might have once lived on earth, that doesn't earn the big bucks, what does however is fooling the general public to come and see amazing new creatures they could have never imagined.

The gameplay of this game will consist of going digging in various locations to enlarge your collection on bones, items such as horns, strange bone growths and misshapen skulls are particularly valuable parts in your collection. Once you have collected enough bones you get to create different bone structures to put together the perfect fascinating creature. The more strange creature you make the more money people will pay to see it, the money acts your score but also doubles as currency you get to spend during the next round to buy certain bone parts if you find yourself lacking. As well as making your own creatures up some rich lords and ladies may also commission you to create skeletons of strange animals for their own personal gain (pranking a friend or something of the sort). This means that you have to listen to what specifics they want on the skeleton and make sure they are added in otherwise you won't get paid in full!

This game will be similar to the Bird Species Creation game that was available to play at Te Papa in Wellington several years back.

This game takes place inside a young childs bedroom, each night after being tucked in by their parents the glowing star stickers on the ceiling come alive. Each night the star stickers will rearrange themselves into different positions in order to create puzzles on the ceiling. Playing as the child you must solve these puzzles in order to get to sleep.

The puzzles play out similar to the Astrarium puzzles in Dragon Age Inquisition. There will be a shape that you must create out of the stars. The difficulty in the puzzle comes from not being able to draw the same line twice, the player must really think about the starting place of their line drawing so they are able to complete the puzzle without getting stuck. The puzzles will start off simple and increase in complexity as the game goes on, more stars will be added as well as more complex shapes. Such shapes could include animals, items, and other things that children often come into contact with.

In this game you play as a young man who has been sent to a new planet in order to find a cure for a plague that has been slowly killing the human population of humans on earth. Your wife has fallen ill and you quickly volunteer to go and search for a cure in order to save her before it is too late. Each volunteer is given a robot companion in order to help them survive on each new planet as well as to hold samples of possible plants and bacteria that could be a potential cure.

The gameplay consists of exploring around new environments, collecting samples and storing them inside your robot companion. The game takes place primarily on one planet with the option to jump to smaller nearby planets. There will be a storyline that leads you around the planet searching around potent places for samples, after each main sample is found a cutscene will trigger that shows how earth's population is faring and how your wife is doing. There will be open world exploration as well as side quests to complete.

The companion robot is designed to be a helper during your explorations. It can be used to transport you across landscapes faster than human legs can travel. Other things it's useful for are: inventory storage, sample evaluation, danger evaluation, and a shelter to sleep in during the night.

This game involves making your own cup of ramen noodles. It takes inspiration from the easy to play childrens games in which you can create your own food product and design it how you please. There is a simple UI where you can choose from a bunch of different ingredients such as dehydrated beef, peas, carrots. You can choose other parts of the noodles such as the flavouring and spice too. It plays on a web browser on it's own dedicated website for easy access.

However this game has a twist to it, after completing your cup of ramen noodles you have the option to have it created in real life and sent to your front door! There will be a shipping and creation fee that the player will have to play but it will allow for them to have super tasty ramen. There will be an option for players to order in bulk as well. The aim of it is to spread tasty ramen around the world!

In this game you play as a decrepit robot that has been cast aside by its makers due to containing malfunctioning hardware that could not be fixed. Dropped out a plane into the middle of the amazon jungle you must find your way out of the jungle before you rust up. However the fall has broken several of your parts which are now lost in the wide sprawling jungle, you must also find these in order to be able to escape.

The gameplay is a side scroller platformer, the player starts off as a small torso of a robot and must reclaim its parts by retrieving them from monkeys who have decided that broken robot parts are a lot of fun to play with. Reclaiming each part will grant more abilities for the player to use. There will be obstacles to jump over, enemies to defeat and secrets to find in game play.

Get lost within the mind. After signing up as a patient at a brain testing facility for some extra cash, Charlie doesn't quite know what he is expecting. Hooked up to a large machine and put into a medically induced coma, the only piece of advice the doctor gives you is "have fun".

Explore each surreal environment in order to find a way to wake up. Each 'dream' will have a puzzle which must be solved in order to move onto the next one. Because this game takes place inside the mind each dream level can be made up of anything and doesn't have to follow any rules of the normal world. Gravity, hearing, sight, there is no guarantee you will have access to these while solving each puzzle.

Each dream level is designed to look stunning and surreal, like crazy eye candy. They will include things such as sea creatures swimming in the sky, water that contains reflections of strange cities, and people who can literally speak stars. Each level will also have a different art style, one might be a clean lined block coloured cityscape, while the next could be a watercolour forest.

In your first night there strange sounds are heard around the house that aren't the normal creaking and sighing of an old house. Exploring the building and its surrounding fields some worrying clues are discovered.

The game is a third person mystery solving game. The aim is to discover the secret behind the house, the distant relative, and why you were left in possession of it. The player must explore the house and put together clues to solve the mystery. Problems will arise as you discover more clues which the player will have to solve, such as the only power line to the house being cut. The game aims to make the player feel uneasy and isolated by being alone in the middle of a large field with no way of leaving and small amounts of electricity to power the house.

Hlaupa is a randomly generated tree climbing game in which you play as a lost deceased norse warrior who has fallen down the world tree and angered Jörmungandr the world serpent. You must jump up the branches of the tree (which are generated randomly) while Jörmungandr rises after you. The aim for the player is to reach the top of the tree where valhalla is so they can be safe from Jörmungandr.

As you ascend the tree you will be able to collect points and powerups. Power Ups will grant you powers such as 'super leg day' to allow you to jump a higher distance. There are also dangers on the branches that you must dodge as you climb higher and higher. Hitting one of these dangerous objects will knock you off the tree and you will have to start again.

The game is scored by how high you manage to climb up the tree at the end of a timer. Once the timer runs out a cutscene will play of the norse warrior reaching the top of the tree. Points are also added on to the score at the end depending on how many collectables and powerups you have also collected.

After a night at sea goes bad you wash up on a deserted island alone and disoriented. There are signs that humans lived here recently although there isn't a single person to be found on the entire island. Abandoned houses and old technology litter the center of the island and point towards the idea that something sinister has happened on this island that caused everyone to disappear so quickly without a trace.

In this game you must investigate the island and find out what happened to the people living here previously in order to find a way to signal for help and escape off the island.

Similar to a point and click game the player must collect and examine items and solve puzzles in order to delve deeper into the darker history of the island. Completing puzzles will give small pieces of storyline which the player will have to piece together. The largest piece of the puzzling storyline is hidden in the lighthouse which the player will only be able to access at the very end of the game.

A game where you are in charge of a zoo that floats on islands instead of being on the ground. Similar to the game zoo tycoon you must create a space for the animal that makes them happy and suits the environment they would live in in the wild. The player will start out with a small amount of animals and will be able to unlock more by completing in game achievements. These achievements can include things such as keeping an animal happy for x amount of time or playing the game for 20 hours. The player will also be able to buy animals if they don't want to spend time unlocking them. The amount of happiness that the animals feel affects the amount of gold income, the less happy the animals are the less gold you get and vice versa. Animals are happiest when in their correct environments with the correct amount of animals on other island. There will be a information sheet to read about the animals so players can decide what plants, rocks, and terrain would suit the animals best.

The art style of the game is a simple low poly style. The game is designed to look cute and eye pleasing while not taking up too much memory usage so it could be possibly played on phones.

An endless runner that is designed to do crazy things with line illusions, lights and flashing colours. Like all endless runners the idea is to run for as long as possible and collect the highest score possible. There will be pickups, coins, and obstacles coming towards the player. If the player runs into an obstacle he will lose one of his 3 life points, once all life points are lost then the game is over and a popup showing the score compared with the high score and a restart button will be shown. Collecting coins will increase the score, and pickups can do things such as double score, give invulnerability or boost the player forwards without taking damage.

Instead of dodging side to side on three lanes as per usual with endless runners the player must rotate the hexagon in which the player is running in. Obstacles will travel towards the player on all sides of the hexagon and the player must dodge them by moving to a side of the hexagon that doesn't have an obstacle in it. Sides can be moved along by tapping the left or right arrow keys.

In this game you play as a clan of small creatures called Piks that are looking to find a new land to take over and make a home in. Lead by their fearless leader, Sik, (the handsome one holding the flag) they must traverse many lands in order to find the perfect place to live.

The game itself is a puzzle game. Because Piks are so small they must help each other climb up ledges and cross crevasses, they cannot pass large obstacles without the help of another. This means that to get up a ledge there must be one Pik left at the bottom of the ledge alone. To complete the level puzzle the player must find a way to get all the Piks from the start point to the finish without leaving a single one behind. This can be achieved through collecting objects, pulling levers, pressing buttons, and pushing objects onto pressure plates.

There will be multiple stages containing many levels, the player must complete 80% of the levels in a stage in order to move onto the next stage. This is to prevent players being stuck on puzzles and giving up on the game.

A hundred years have passed since the great battle that tore apart the kingdom ended. People were sure that the world would be torn apart by Tourmond, an invader from a foreign land, the sword he wielded struck down anyone who thought to cross his path.

100 years have passed since that battle ended. However the world is starting to fall out of balance once again, invaders from the west are becoming more and more frequent and the people of the land are growing scared. Rumours have begun spreading of a gigantic force that is gathering to wipe out the kingdom. People have become desperate at the thought of facing another devastating war and have begun searching for the sword that was such a large deciding factor in the last battle.

Play as a young farm girl looking to make a difference in the world, hearing all the rumors and discovering more and more dead sheep each day has caused a deep anger to smolder within you. Leave your home and search for the fabled sword, competing with many others, in order to take a stand against the impending danger.

Gameplay is similar to the Witcher 3, there is a lot of exploring, side quests and world lore to discover. There will also be an expansive fighting system focused around sword fighting.

A runner game where you play inside a music sheet. The idea is that playing the game perfectly will play out a catchy melody, however missing tiles and running into obstacles will mess up the tune and deduct points from the player.

Each tile on the platforms plays a note when the player places a foot on it. There are 3 different platforms for the player to run on, they are filled with obstacles and coins to collect. Collecting coins will give the player points, and running into obstacles will take them away, points will also be awarded at the end for the longest streak of tunes.

The stage ends when the tune finishes, the player can choose what tune they would like to play. In order to prevent the player from spending ages completing a tune the songs will be cut shorter than the original ones.

The art style of the game will be predominately pixel art.

Combo Caster is a game based around button combinations that create spells. Play as a mage trying to defeat a horde of monsters and protect his small hovel from being overrun and destroyed.

The gameplay consists of the player being presented with enemies in quick succession. Each enemy will deal a certain amount of damage unless the player can defeat them with the correct spell before they reach him. The enemies are created from elements of nature such as water, fire, ice and earth. The player is given spells such as fire lance, waterspout, earth shatter, and ice wall to cast at the enemies in order to defeat them. To cast a spell the player must press the correct combination of keys in time to produce magic. There are different key combinations that will call upon different magic, similar to Magicka. The player must cast the correct spell to counter to enemy in order to defeat it (water against a fire demon for example), difficulty is added by decreasing the time the player has to complete the spell combo as the levels increase.
