I just...love Dragon Age 2 so much. People say the combat is very bad (they're correct [though I kinda hated the first game's fighting too, haha]), they use the same five areas for 90% of the game (yep, and there are two character models for Qunari, one for the boss, one for the thousand others), it's kinda buggy (sure), it looks ~much~ worse visually (yesh), etc. But none of those things are what makes me love Bioware games in the first place; it's irritating, but easy for me to put up with. This game in particular has a lot of my favorite characters (especially the two on the right, below), and a fun story, and I think Bioware really crushed it with the dialogue. I just wanna hang out with these guys and gals forever. So. Dragon Age 2. Give it a go!
Edit: OH AND THERE ARE SO MANY COOL ARMORS IN THIS GAME. LOOK AT THE SPIKY MONSTROSITY!!!
I did my first lost foam casting this evening. A couple weeks ago I made a backyard foundry and have been making aluminum ingots for the past couple weeks. Today I carved a little stone-like head out of insulation foam with a hot wire knife, fired up the foundry, melted down some of the aluminum ingots I've been making, and sandcasted a copy. Here's the process.
Streaming to motivate myself to work and Picarto's chat is a little slow for some reason. Maybe it will improve over time.
