the channel mixer in rawtherapee applies some kind of smoothing between color transitions which in some cases produces pleasing grain but in others can just overly fuzz an image for my tastes. i wish the program exposed that as a toggle or something (im sure i could go into the code and implement this myself but I Am Not That Committed)
Just got an Arsat-H 50mm f/2, it's the smallest f-mount lens I have and I quite like the look it produces
high contrast - not how i usually would edit something like this, kinda strays from the lens' character, but i quite like the drama of it
ended up underexposing this shot a bit too much, the sunset was only like that for a few minutes though
double exposed with the Df's onboard multi-exposure mode, pretty pleasing result, probably shouldve shot the portrait darker though

that's a very interesting effect, didn't know channel mixer could do this! if you like fine tuning b&w noise/rendering, try out importing a color image in gimp, go to Colors > Desaraturate > Color to Gray... and mess with the settings a bunch (very powerful tool)
