The Lost Cities is a First Person Adventure exploration game. You play Sotan Posteel, a Scrapper for Hire in the Milky Way Galaxy. You, and your team of robots, descend into abandoned cities on destroyed planets, to retrieve items of importance, for a considerable fee. Anything else you find is yours to keep. Its a good paying job. That is, until you receive your Latest Contract. Neo Charon, of 'Charon, Sampson and John', has asked you to retrieve 7 icons of the Old Gods of the Planet Enol, from its surface. One Icon lies in each of the Major Cities scattered across the desolate wasteland terrain. Despite what you heard about Enol, with the Plague, Killer Robots, Atom Wars, and that once incident with an ambassador from Napan, you take the Job. After all, 20 Million Soko's don't come by you very often. So you head down to the Planet, with 2 Collector Bots and 4 Security Bots, as you don't know how big the icon is, and there may be some Squatters living in the city. But what you don't know, is that the planet is not abandoned. As you venture into the first city, who knows what you will find. What has been lurking under the surface of the planet? Just how big are the Icons of the Old Gods? These questions will all be answered, in The Lost Cities.
