Wondering if I could suggest some options for the website's audio player:

1. I would like it if I could play the week's submitted songs and listen to the whole thing without being interrupted at my desk when I am doing other work. Bonus: if the system could give an audio message indicating what the song is called/who did it so I can come back to it later, write down my thoughts, etc.

2. I would like to see times for the current song so if I leave feedback I can refer to specific points in the song.

3. I would like to browse to different points of one song in case I want to listen to sections again or if I have to stop and come back to the song.

I'd simply ask if it's possible to skip through the song. If not I'll just download and do it that way. More for convenience than anything. Cheers.

I'm working on a new audio player, it's almost done. It has seeking, tracklist, next track button, continuous play & more. Hoping to get it out soon!

The current audio player (on Safari) no longer seems to play songs for me - I have to head right to the download link to listen to them.

Any news on the new audio player? Would be excited to hear it (lol).

Sorry, I went into a hole and got distracted with other work. Sadly got pulled even though the new audio player is effectively done. I'll try to get it up soon.

I just deployed the new player. Also fixed some bugs that may have been preventing uploads. Give it a shot.

Hi leafo, the player gives a red "Unable to load audio" error on my browser:

Safari Version 12.1.1 (14607.2.6.1.1) on macOS Mojave.

It seems to work in Firefox though.

Player itself is great, I love that it has the timestamp and that it allows me to write comments while it's playing. As a secondary suggestion, could it show the title of the song (in addition to the file name)?
