Wasted a lot of time trying to get OBS Studio to cooperate, but I did get some kind of drawing done at least. Drained my remaining energy..
Today's experiment was seeing if I could paint with greys, then figure out the filter and clipping that would let me paint over with one tone (the end result changing depending on the grey underneath.) Succeeded this time!
I'd failed to get anywhere with this experiment several times in the past, and didn't (and don't) know enough to even know how to google for a solution. So. Pretty super pumped. It's much easier for me to think in greys first, then put color on those greys afterward. Trying to start with colors always leads to massive wonkiness. I'm hoping this means I'll stick with this whole coloring thing for longer than my past attempts.
man, inspiration is hard to come by. Rewrote schedulör from scratch, have yet to port the old loops over to the new engines (and fix their looping!), so no source until then. It's messy anyway.
