welp, it's not as nearly as grand as i wanted it to be haha but i think this is as far as my digital painting skills go :P I think i'll definitely come back to this drawing down the road to improve it!!

There's been a lot on my plate today but I'm getting it done.

Got my new Intuos last night, so I thought I would paint my dog to get a feel for it.

UPDATE: Added a second picture where I did some color / contrast balancing and added more shadows and highlights.
