For me, this will involve one cardio workout per day and one light resistance workout per day.
Cardio will hopefully be a 45min jog or a 30min H.I.I.T. session, but even if there's a blizzard outside and it's 2am, I can do a few sprints up and down my apartment-block staircase.
Resistance will be either an intensive kettle-bell tabatta session or between 30-60 minutes of yoga, depending on energy levels.
For anyone looking to join in, the key is to do something every day. It doesn't need to be a trip to the gym or a 20km run, it could just be your 10-minute workout DVD or a walk in the park. But some activity, every day.
Biking ! 30 min, really hard this time since i hvent done this in awhile
A few weeks ago, I started the 5K Training app by the people behind Zombies, Run! I kept it going for about two weeks, and then stopped for no reason.
Today I got back out there, and have started the training from scratch. I managed around 4.5km, although most of that is walking at the moment. By the end, the soles of my feet was sore, the back of my left leg was slightly painful, and my feet had gone numb. I know the last one is not meant to happen, so I am going to monitor it and see whether it persists or not.
Back after the weekend break. As always - bar pullups and pushups.
Abs, dips, biceps (dumbbells), shoulders (dumbbells), pistols, cardio.
Yay. Several biceps series with dumbbells. Some dips on chairs and a little bit of abs.
