I'm going to try and format these clouds differently. I'll try to base them off of a scenery or make them follow a coherent pattern.
Drawing them based on random sizes & shapes doesn't make much intuitive sense so this format should fix that issue.

Trying out some different shading styles. This one feels better for perspective while maintaining simplicity. It's like the 2 shade style but I'm using 3 colors total. When one color is added, another is taken out

I've begun coloring in the swirly windy clouds. I'm not sure what style to go for though. I can use the bubbly shape and then add the protruding edges to give the illusion of a wind passing through them. Or I can use diagonal shapes throughout the cloud to give it a jagged look.

I think i used a 3px brush for the most of these sketches. I then added protruding edges and then rounded a majority of them. This ensures that the overall shape remains 'cloudy'. Ill finish these tmrw

Time to try out some different perspectives and shape styles.

I had barely any sleep and was out all day. This drawing is me right now

Phone doodle before bed. I could use a margarita tho lol

Doing a continuation of yesterday's clouds. Ill be filling these in tmrw.
I need to figure out a better way to structure and sort these variations though.

Okay I'm back to drawing clouds tonight. I'll be exploring the cartoony style with the flat bottom. Ill take inspiration from Mario, Old Japanese paintings, and cartoons from cable tv

Went back to digital for today! My coloring is still god awful so I deleted all the color and focused on the line art. Pretty happy with this doodle overall

Yey Finished the past few days' sketches. I did my best to polish them with a curvy style. After drawing a bunch of these clouds, I realized that it's best for me to stick with this realistic style when using 4 colors.
Ill draw in the cartoony style when using 2 colors. That makes the most sense moving forward.

Doodled the same style of clouds before work. I went for a smaller size today

Continuation of yesterday's cloud style. I think I'm getting the hang of this sort of style. I start with the second darkest tone, then work my way up to the brighest. I then finish with the darkest tone last.

For these, I tried using a blockier shape. Not 100% blocky like a rocky texture but slightly bulkier. I made the shapes feel cloudier by adding subtle textures near the bottom half of the cloud. I noticed that if there's too much texturing near the top, it ruins the flow of the entire cloud. It feels unnatural for some reason.
So ill keep this technique in mind for future clouds :D

I tried fixing the shapes of the previous sketch & added some shading. The top cloud needs some word though. I need to approach these wispy shapes in a different way because I'm taking too long fixing them after the initial sketch.
Ill add some more color to all of these 2 palette clouds in the future. It'll be a great idea to save some time while practicing shading.
