Pretty happy with this batch of clouds :D
I completed these quite quickly compared to my previous ones and it maintained a high level of fidelity. Ill either try this again or do layered clouds
Going for the 3 color anime style with the sun on the top left. Ill try drawing these with the same silhouette but with various lighting angles.
Starting a new sheet. 3 colors with varying shape styles. Ill try drawing these in various colors and shading styles.
I'm finally back home to start doodling clouds again. Ill try to paint in digital & physical to see what I learn.
Finished these square, boxy clouds! It was my first time doing this style so I learned a few new patterns. Ill try these again using a more consistent style in the future
I'm going to start another larger cloud sheet study. This one is going to have 8 directions and 3 variations. Each variation is a cloud that is affected by stronger and stronger wind.
I'm starting to draw diagrams on shape styles. This one shows what shading styles noobies tend to do.
Woo back home. Here's a iteration of a simple cloud style. Let's see how much/little details I can add until the style starts to change.
I'm going to try and sketch every biome to go along with all of my clouds. Soooo here's a desert biome sketch
Continuation of yesterday's doodles. Almost done with these wispy clouds. I'll try these in a cartoony style next time
It's much easier to use a darker tone as a base. I tried every variation and this one is the cleanest workflow. I tried starting from the mid tones and bright tones but to no avail.
I finished another wispy cloud drawing. I had a rough time shading the directional lines inside the cloud.
Shaded in some clouds from before. I kept the colors at 3 because 4 has too much fidelity to it- Higher fidelity drawings dont look great as background objects.
I tried speed painting some hills today so I can pair them with the clouds I drew in the past. It's not perfect but I'm satisfied with how they turned out :D
I'll adjust the cloud colors so it matches this scenery a bit more too.
