Worshiping Board Game is set in an ancient time where gods still held power over this world. You play as one of four priests living and worshiping at the chapel of your local god. Each day your god requires a certain amount of worship going his way or he will be unimpressed and smite you. Each day you must produce enough food for your chapel to continue in it's practices. In addition to these things your god will also lay down challenges that your people must meet in order to continue worshiping him.

Worshiping Board Game is a co-op traitor game where you play as one of four priests who worship your god. Each day you as a team must gather enough food and give enough worship to your god. In addition to food and worship your team must also complete challenges laid down by your god. One priest (decided at random) will be a traitor who worships another god. He is trying to get the rest of the priests to fail in their devotion.

At the beginning of the game the players are randomly assigned a priest, each with different attributes that make life around the abbey easier in different areas(better worship rolls, better task rolls or better food rolls) they then take turns drafting unique priest abilities from a common set of cards until they have 3 each. These cards will be things like +1 to one dice roll each turn or re roll one dice per turn.

Each turn each player is given four action points which the player can choose to distribute among gathering food, worshiping or completing the tasks. These actions points will be distributed face down each day and the players must say what they are placing on the board. The traitor wins if the priests do not complete three tasks or starve for three days or do not provide enough worship to their god. The other priests win if they manage to vote the traitor out or if they complete five days of requirements.

Escape room

Players will be placed in the room, around them they will find drawers around the room, a couch setting with an ottoman, the walls will be cover in artwork with nameplates fastened underneath. There are lamps placed in the corners of the room. There will be a lone mirror on a wall overlooking the dining table. In the centre of the table there will be a large wooden box locked with a combination. There will be a locked door to the left of the door they are trying to exit from. This will be locked with a combination lock.

Players will inspect everything easy to access in the room. This will be the draws, the ottoman, the movable furniture and behind the art work. These things will contain clues to what the combination to the locked door or the locked box is.

The ottoman will contain a small jigsaw puzzle to give them a number.

In one of the draws will be a clue "I am the light in the darkness" One of the light bulbs in a lamp will have a number on it.

In one of the drawers there will be a riddle to find a number

If 9999 = 4, 8888 = 8, 1816 = 6, 1212 = 0, then 1919 = ??

Look at how many closed areas there are.

  • 9999 has 4 closed areas (the top of the '9')
  • 8888 has 8 closed areas, the top and bottom parts of the 8 and there are no other digits
  • 1816 has 3 closed areas, (top and bottom of 8 and bottom of 6, and it has 2 other digits ( 3*2=6)
  • 1212 has 0 closed areas,(0*4=0)

These three clues will unlock the box on the table. The box on the table will contain a blacklight.

If they use the light on the mirror they will find another number.

In one of the draws there will be a list of paintings. If they use the black light on the paintings on the list they will find numbers on the frame. The addition of these numbers will give them another number.

On the locked door there will be text referencing something on one of the rugs. Counting the number of the thing on this rug will give them a third number.

These three numbers will unlock the locked door. In this locked door they will find a bookcase which includes in its collection one book for every painting and one book "binary for dummies".

If they use the blacklight inside the hidden room they will find footsteps leading behind the bookcase to another hidden room.

This room will have but one piece of paper in it. This piece of paper will have another list of 3 paintings on it. And at the bottom "the exit of the room will provide you with the final number" The books about these painting will have riddles to reference something they need to count in the paintings. For example

"Who makes it, has no need of it.
Who buys it, has no use for it.
Who uses it can neither see nor feel it.
What is it?"

Answer is a coffin. This would mean they need to count the amount of coffins in a picture.

Once they solve the three riddles they will find the binary for the number 9 on the door. This is the last number for the exit code.

Monster Hunter

Monster Hunter is a MMO game with RPGesq features. Monster Hunter is set in a world where massive monsters roam the continent. Charles is from the small town of Bluff in the south island of New Zealand. For many years the people of this wild land have had many strive to capture monsters and fight them in battle. These monsters used to be used in wars between men but now they are only used to fight each other. Charles has a dream to be the best monster trainer in the land. He will travel far and wide to obtain the rarest and strongest monsters to tame.

You play as Charles as he heads out into the world in order to capture creatures like vampires, werewolves, dragons and miniatures. You can then train these captured creatures to fight for you. The more they fight the better they get, eventually they will gain enough experience to level up and gain a new move and better attributes. You can then use these monsters to battle people online.

Going Pro

Going Pro is set in the world we live in, adults go to work and kids go to school. Life is very much as you know it. Going Pro focusses on one guy and his journey to play tennis professionally in the future. His name is Charles, a New Zealand born 15 year old male who dreams to play tennis for a living. However his parents disagree with his passion and he need to prove its validity to them. In order to do that he needs to win the Australasian junior championship or he needs to go to university and study to become an accountant. You play as Charles as he attempts to make it into the pro world of tennis.

Going Pro is a single player tennis game. It is designed for the xbox Kinect which makes the game super interactive and easy to get into for players of all skill levels. You play tennis against increasingly difficult AIs until you beat the game or cannot continue. Later development may introduce online play.

Fireworks Specialist

In Fireworks Specialist you play a small time fireworks display technician. You have a friend Fred who owns a business called Fred's Bangers. Fred's business is small and struggling to find work. He has hired you on as a consultant to help him run and grow Fred's Bangers. In Fireworks Specialist you get hired to put on fireworks displays for public events such as small town harvest days and private events such as parties and work functions. As the fireworks technician you have control over which fireworks you buy and how they are displayed to the clients.

The clients will pay you and upfront booking fee and then a bonus for how happy each person is. At the end of the event the player will receive feedback from the client and other guests at the event. If people are happy with the display they will recommend Fred's Bangers to others and you will be able to book clients more regularly.

Every month there is a budget overview, if the player cannot generate enough money each month Fred's Bangers will go out of business. Each month the player will need to generate more money to continue running.

Destructo Cars

Destructo Cars is a game designed for the playstation and xbox markets. It is an multiplayer battle arena aimed at the casual market. The game offers 10 player free for all or team vs team of 1-3 players. In Destructo Cars player control cars, each car is equipped with serious armaments. Players can unlock better weapons by playing and completing challenges.

Each car can have sweet upgrades like nitrous oxide tanks and missile launchers. The game will use a free to play model to entice users to play. Destructo Cars will offer daily quests to user which will earn them gold. Quests will have a wide range of difficulty offering better rewards for harder challenges. Quests can be anything from earning a 5 streak to pulling a backflip of a rocket jump.

Destructo Cars offers a unique moba experience by being extremely fast paced and allowing access to casual players due to its simple controls and straight forward mechanics.

Strangers Lane

Twelve strangers enter, one stranger leaves.

In Strangers Lane twelve strangers gather in an alley way behind a bar. Each stranger has an identity and an outfit. One stranger might be a doctor and another might be a crook. Each stranger is controlled by a player in the real world. The players are presented with information about their character. One player is also designated to be a murderer.

Strangers Lane is a whodunit turn based game. Each turn a player can request information from the other players for 30 seconds. After those 30 seconds the turn is over. During those 30 seconds the murderer may kill of a player by sending a kill request. At the end of each round the requests sent to each character are revealed and the players may then vote on who they think the murderer is.

Strangers Lane is game designed for the flash market. It is designed to be a fast paced time waster game people can play a couple of rounds of during their lunch break.

True Prey

True Prey is a first person hunting game. It is being released with an appendage gun which has a slot for the ps4 / xboxone controller. This gun allows the player to aim at the screen and look down gun sites rather than use directional buttons to manoeuvre the gun. True Prey aims to give big rewards for hard work. Players will be able to see damaged plants, foot prints and game trails. They can use these clues and more to track animals through the bush. Once they find animal tracks they must follow them carefully, the faster you move the more noise you make and if an animal detects you before you can put a bullet into it the animal will bolt, leaving the player empty handed.

Once they acquire an animal they return home with it and sell it to the local butcher for a profit. Players can spend money on better equipment and later on better vehicles to transport more animals at a time.

Unexpected discounts

Unexpected Discounts is a game based on the people you have on your face book friends list. The game is about amassing the largest amount of money you can. You need to buy, sell and trade goods to generate an income. There is an algorithm that allocates a certain wares to sell based on your user name.

You need to contact the people on your friends list covertly without attracting too much attention from your pairs who also play the game. If you can successfully contact your pairs without attracting undue attention from other friends then you can sell your acquired goods for a large profit.

Unexpected Discounts is a game designed to hit the social market of early teens who spend a lot of time on the internet. Players compete with their friends to generate the largest income. To get ahead players need to wheel deal and be sneaky to get ahead.


Rage Quit

Rage Quit is a game aimed at 15 year old boys. The game will be a MOBA based around Greek mythology. Players choose to play as one of the gods or titans from a pool of over one hundred. Each god or titan has a skill set of five abilities based around their mythology. Since gods and titans are immortal the win condition is based around respawns. Each team consists of five players has 50 lives to compete with and when a team uses the 50 lives they are defeated. The game also has a meta game where players gain experience and gold for every game they play. They can use this experience and gold to level up and purchase items for their god of choice.

The rage quit part of Rage Quit is that every time you make a player on the other team quit before the game is over you gain bonus experience and gold to upgrade your hero.

Phone Defence

Phone Defence is a multiplayer mobile based tower defence. Players design and build bases in order to defend against waves of creeps sent from other players. Players have a set field size to build towers. The creeps run from one end to the other and try to reach your "phone" players can direct the paths of the units with towers. The usp of this game is how players get units, the game can use a barcode scanner to scan barcodes from the world around them. As players scan barcodes they are given different units to use. Each unique barcode will give a different strength of unit with several barcodes giving ultra rare units.

Phone Defence is aimed at the already established "clash of clans" market. It also brings the nostalgia of Warcraft 3 mods. The unique usp combined with the multiplayer aspect of Phone Defence gives the game an edge over the other mobile games of this type.

Stranded Seas

Stranded Seas is set in in the 1800s when piracy and trade ships are what you see in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean. The player starts alone on a small island surrounded by countless other small islands. They start with only an axe and enough supplies to last a week. The aim of the game is to build ships and conquer the seas. To start with players can craft small canoes to move between the islands. They need to move between the islands to find the required resources in order to build better ships and armaments. On the islands they can also find coveted resources such as spices and gold. They can trade these resources with passing NPC trade/military armadas.

Stranded Seas is a server based PvP game where players compete in ocean combat. They can team up to build and crew larger ships. There is no win condition in the game, there is only senseless combat between players.

Paintbrawl

Paintbrawl is a first person shooter aimed at anyone who has played with msPaint at some point in their lives. Players must compete in teams of two – five. The aim of the game is to out fight and out draw your opponents. Four players of the team vs another team of four in a tradition first person shooter style.

The drawing part comes into play where one player is the artist for the team. The game is designed to recognise certain shapes representing power ups, obstacles and weapon upgrades. As the team of four fights it out on the map the artist is in a control room with a top down view of the battlefield. The artist can then draw obstacles and drag them onto the map to hinder the opposing team. In the same fashion the artist can draw power ups and weapon upgrades and drag them onto player to change the flow of battle. All drawings have a cooldown and the power ups are gated by objectives that players can capture for their artist. Weapon upgrades are gated by player experience, so as the players battle they each gain experience and can then be rewarded with a new weapon of the artist design.

Valiance

Valiance is a narrative story game. The goal was to use video games as a medium to tell a story in an interactive fashion to increase immersion among users. In Valiance you play as a Ted and his sister Sophie. Ted is thirteen years old and Sophie is nine. They find themselves lost in the woods after their father's car plowed off a ravine killing the driver on impact. Valiance is the story behind their journey to civilisation.

The game opens with a cut scene showing the car crash and Ted's desperation at his un-waking father. The gameplay starts when Ted decides to take his sister and find shelter at some caves he knows are nearby. This will be the tutorial stage of the game teaching the player how to climb, jump and swing with Ted and Sophie. It will also teach some parts of how they work together in order to scale larger obstacles. Once they reach the caves the game will go to a dialogue scene where we learn more about the siblings and their life.

Valiance is narrative game hosting a variety of puzzles which focus on controlling two characters and utilising their strengths to survive and return home. The game will be released on the playstation store for $1nzd so that everyone will be able to jam my awesome game.

Milkshaking.

In Milkshaking you design milkshakes. You work for Mr Whippy in the research and development department and you are tasked with designing the best milkshake ever to exist. With you primo milkshake Mr Whippy plans to dominate the world. He plans on using your milkshake to bring all of the boys to the yard and creating an army which cannot be stopped.

Milkshaking is a mobile game aimed at under 10s. The game is very simple, the player selects ingredients from 5 categories, the type of milk used, the type of ice cream used, the type of syrup used, the topping used and finally the type of glass wear it is presented in. Once the milkshake is completed players will be presented with a cool image of their amazing milkshake which they can share with their friends. The game then rates their milkshake by assessing its boys to yard ratio.

Game of Civs is set in the world of game of thrones. Players get to pick their favorite faction from game of thrones. They then set out for world domination in this epic turn based strategy game. The game, all though being based in the game of thrones world is started with but a single unit. The player can maneuver this unit to a place which has favorable resources or access to the coast. This unit lets you place down the begings of your kingdom in the form of small town. When you place this town it will start producing gold and let you start working the resources around the town you also get two units, an explorer troop and a warrior troop. As the game progresses the player can spend resources on expanding their borders or upgrading their troops.

When the player encounters another army they can choose to attack it. If they attack the game will change from a top down strategy game to a real time epic combat zone similar to Rome Total War.

This game will be single player and released on PC.

Dodgems!

Dodgems is a rough world, you live and you die by the challenge. What is the challenge? I hear you ask. The challenge is to be the best car there ever was. Every year they cars hold a fair in the town centre. The fair has many tournaments involved but the most prestigious is the dogems bumper game. It's a FFA that involves all the cars in the city. The cars attempt to ram each other until there is only one left running.

In Dodgems each player controls a car, each car is fully customizable with upgrade paths for the different parts of a car. Player are placed into lobbies of 20 people and they have massive destruction derbies. The game is designed to promote survival of the fittest and will be released as a free flash game with options to pay for easier unlocks.

Picturesque

Picturesque is a game designed for the mobile social market. The game is aimed at people of all age groups and all demographics. This is because the game is all about assigning clues to pictures that the other players have to guess.

In Picturesque players are prompted to enter their age before they play. They are then assigned to lobbies of 6 players. One player must pick a card and then assign a clue of no more than three words to the card. The other players pick pictures based on the clue. The entered cards are then shuffled and present to the players. The players who heard the clue then vote on which picture they think fits the clue best. The score is assigned by how many players pick which card. If they players pick the original card they get 2 points and the player who played the original card also gets two points. Any other cards that are picked get one point.

The way clues are assigned make the game accessible to all age groups.

A Thousand Years with Myself

I have lived in this darkness for the longest time, I had almost forgotten what light felt like on my skin. But when it finally happened, the door creaked open, I was so shocked I almost forgot to feel the pain in my eyes. When I could finally bring myself to uncover my eyes a transparent figure was motionless in the doorway. When I held a hand out to touch him he vanished in a wisp of smoke.

A Thousand Years with Myself is a puzzle adventure game. You play as Alfred who has been imprisoned for over a thousand years. He has eventually elevated his mind to the point where he can project himself outside of his body.(USP BITCHES) This projection does not have to obey silly things we humans restrict ourselves with. Things like the laws of physics do not apply to this being.

Although he can send a projection of himself and control it as he pleases, this is very taxing and after a short time his consciousness returns to his physical form. This leaves an echo of his mind outside his body which he must reach before his mind fractures and leaves him a vegetable.

Alfred is trapped in a labyrinth of a dead civilisation, his only goal is to escape. Like most ancient civilisations the one he is trapped in liked tricky puzzles and traps in order to protect their things. The player as Alfred must use the projection to reach normally unreachable switches, ladders and elevators. They must then make it accessible to a physical person, return to the body and navigate it to the projection before the time runs out.

A Thousand Years with Myself will be a big mood focused game giving soft background music which has a very slight increase in tempo when trying to reach the echo. It will use simple art works to not detract from the simplicity of the game. The game will be a side on 2d flash game designed to take about an hour to complete.

Mine Runner

I wonder what's behind that door. That door at the bottom of the mine. People have tried for years to get through but no one has been able to. They aren't like me though, I have a plan.

Mine Runner is a progressive runner where the player lives in a mine that has a mysterious door at the bottom. There is a rail track that leads up to the door and the game opens with the player strapping booster rockets onto a mine cart and riding it explosively through the door.

The game is about your journey down the track into the dark unknown. As you boost down you need to jump gaps, lean either side to dodge fallen debris and time your boosts in order to miss the new rock falls caused by the reverberation of your sweet booster.

Mine Runner is designed to be played on mobile using the tilt functions to lean left and right. During certain sections the game will change to a side on view to enable the player to dodge rock falls and perform the tricky jumps present in the mine. If the player dies they are sent to the start to try again.
