Just getting back to learning animating pixelart. Still feel like I have to learn a lot, so I'm looking at the tutorials of @Saint11. (https://www.patreon.com/saint11)
Just some small adjustments. But the game is out now finally and free:

No real drawing or painting here, but I guess working on effects is working on art, too. Still wish to have more time for everything.
More work on characters. Doesn't look like much difference yet, but the system allows now for animated custom objects (only heads for now). Characters became a bit stiff when I added the possibility change heads because those were only single sprites. This now should make the game more alive again.
Rough animation. Adding mostly small things to the game at the moment, improving here and there.
A few days ago I put together a small gameplay video, in case you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQyWu9L6wQ6tCNRdaj60euQ
Minor pixelart work here and there. Hopefully can return to "real" drawings and paintings next week. But right now still in "crunch mode" for the next presentation.
Experimenting with procedural generation. Also found a new brush that gave good results for the ground texture.
Finally animated. And I'm happy with it so far. Not long ago it was one of my greatest fears, animating these big beings I had created as still images. But I'm getting more confident by the week.
But also itching to get back to drawing figures/faces and painting landscapes.
Finally those cultists got new animations too. About time.
Sorry for posting so many gifs. But animations are just what I am doing this week. And it's still painting for me.
