Woodland and plying
A few rows on Woodland and quite a bit of plying. Still a long way to go on both
Package prep (added leader on spindle, picked wool, skeined more Lovikka, twisted mini-skeins) and a pitiful two rows of Woodland
Almost a full repeat today. Picture would be identical to previous ones so will wait a few days
Knitted a few more rows
Back home! A few rows on Woodland and some plying
Spite-took Woodland on the trip to the airport for a last few rows, then left it with the boyfriend because I wasn't going to be allowed to take it onboard.
Finished the first increase section for the alpaca tea cozy, next is the spout gusset.
Spent most of the evening baking muffins
Added a few more rows on Woodland
Got the merino single off the spindle and started plying.
Did some knitting on the tea cozy.
Made a mini-watercolour painting
I messed up early on and that manifested in the poor turtle falling apart. Will finish up loose parts and see what to do with them.
Also re-cast on the alpaca tea thing as I found the skipped CO stitch and it looked bad
A few rows on Woodland, and a lifeline at the end of repeat 4. Can't hurtz
Swatched some Drops Alpaca for a tea cozy with needles 4, 3 and 3.5mm, then blocked it. Then cast on 96st on the 3mm bamboo DPNs, after measuring the pot.
Also blocked the old Malabrigo brioche swatch while at it. It was NOT a good technique, all the stretch is gone! Glad I tried on the swatch and not the full scarf. Might knit another swatch to try another block technique (steam?)
Did a few rows on Woodland both at home and at the Yarn movie event, and spun some
Had to fix a missing decrease on row 30.
Wonky ceramics turtle in progress. We'll see if it breaks..
Untangled some more. Still no ceramics photos because goop. And did a few rows on Woodland, that got upgraded with freshly arrived stitch markers
Same as yesterday, a few Woodland rows and a few meters of blue merino
