This was an attempt at making something more fast paced. I think it is still quite slow, so I stopped and will try again with something else. It is not as high energy as I was wanting, but not terrible I suppose.
Been very busy with work so I'd forgotten to upload this work in progress that I started...
I'm still practicing, but I played a melody that I liked and ended up trying to play a harmony to go with it. I can't quite play intricate things, but I tried my best!
(The repeat bass was added later, of course it definitely can't be played in tandem with everything else)
Worked on the instrumental for a song I started writing a while back.
I really hate how the guitars sound but I'm not sure if that's just my guitar or the amp sim I'm using so I didn't touch it for now.
Something very short, not finished. Didn't spend a lot of time composing this week.
I'm not on my main computer so I don't have my project files, but this is something I made recently as a test for a potential commissioner.
Edit (20/02/2021): with some suggestions, I updated it to a version without all of the percussion and a bit less energy. I think it's more coherent.
A bit of a rushed piece in lieu of sudden inspiration. It's not mixed or mastered very well, but here you go.
Probably not going to finish this but I thought I'd post it anyways. I took the melody from this (https://soundcloud.com/seventh-beast/hidden-groves-and-treasure-troves), adapted it into 5/4, and changed it to a minor key.
Myst: just a section of something I made, inspired by Final Fantasy. Trying to make less dense compositions and work on my structure.
Lake: a totally unrelated composition that I made in an hour because something was buzzing around in my head.
Listening to a lot of chiptune lately and wanted to try again. My last attempts were very very bad, this one is.. okay.
The first is the outline, the second is the more complete version.
