Watercolor time!
Axew - eventually figured out green tone by mixing in brown, but that's why head + body are different; totally ruined the final outlining

Will probably take a while until I really commit to drawing the exact same thing multiple times. For now just being happy to get more comfortable with the pencil.
Four shaders, just me playing around. Possible quicksilver shader for a future fluid sim, a stippled plastic base for a firearm grip, a sci-fi shield, and a simple glass/dispersal shader I made while following @khtrammell 's recent Shader Forge video. Kent is a fantastic tutor, and he's taught me a hell of a lot about Blender's node system and Cycles render. Thanks man!

Edit: The attached file is a rough idea of the firearm that would utilize the plastic base shader.
