One of my goals is to develop a consistent workflow that lets me go from sketch to finished painting. This is the result of some more experimenting towards that end.
Today I finally received my hardware wallet for good ol' safe keeping of cryptocurrency things. So of course, I had to draw the bad boy.
trying to think more about accurate colors. Ended up sampling reference, painting blobs, then smudging. not sure if a good approach for learning anything
decided to do another robot master. this time i'm spriting knight man from mega man 6, another cool robot master imo
hopefully by tomorrow night it'll be completely done
finished an old sketch and started an animation
so heres a WIP (its very choppy.. i only got 3 frames bc i got tire OTL)
Saw the new Spongebob movie, so I felt like I'd try drawing him. Turns out that no, spending your entire life watching, enjoying and studying a character does not make you any better at drawing him. (I really need to start using guidelines/lines of action.)
