Did this on a touchpad on the couch, instead of with a mouse at the "real" computer.
Still I like how it went :)
Tutorial here: http://2dgameartforprogrammers.blogspot.de/
this time candles, from here: http://tuts.ahninniah.graphics/inkscape-tutorials-...
It went ok, but not great.
This is the lesson about rocks again, this time the other rocks ;)
(I did the start of this lesson 12 days ago.)
I might use that as a background in my game.
@latentflip linked this video in his first submission to this streak, and I watched it and tried to follow in inkscape (instead of pencil on paper as intended).
At least I didn't trace it. Just used guide lines and a circle.
Maybe I'll try to do the eyes later.
At least with the fish I strayed from the tutorial.
Used a google photo of one as the idea (but not tracing it, just having it open on the second screen).
Thanks to bobbo I checked out this page and found an inkscape rocks tutorial, which i tried to follow (the first page).
I think they turned out fine.
I then wanted to try a cactus on my own. I think it kind of worked, overall I am pleased.
