i don't know whether or not i should stick with the sketchy-ness of the original that seems to have more character, or go for cleaner lineart because i really don't have patience for the latter (as evidenced below), not to mention that it looks flatter (but more anatomically correct!). i don't really seem to have that problem when I ink traditionally, maybe i just need to find out what works best for me that doesn't wear down my nerves

Edit: I probably spent the first half of that drawing saying to myself, "Don't forget her tattoos, don't forget her tattoos..."
