experimenting with different angles and such. trying to balance realism with tileset considerations.
One of my primary goals for my time working on my art skills has been to build my knowledge and endurance enough to comfortably make assets and animations for games and other projects. When I first took my hiatus from my various sites, I could draw fairly well but would be so tired after doing any work that I'd need lots of rest. My asthma was not as well controlled at the time and I had enough skill as an artist to make convincing illustration work and animations but not enough to do anything outside of my admittedly specialized wheelhouse. I essentially started over, attempting to identify and hone my art fundamentals while slowly increasing what I am capable of outputting during the day. I am finally approaching a point where I'd feel comfortable doing illustrations regularly again, but not now. Perhaps in a few months I'd do more regular illustrations, but for now, I am finishing up commission debts long owed and doing my usual 100 hands, 100 feet and 100 figures routine.
