oops i put more effort into this than i intended xD

Kinda new here, but better late than never! Some life drawings and gesture sketches I did from a week ago.

Trying to get a feel for a character. Which is a thing I never do. But I want to draw a good picture, so this seems like a solid strategy.

This time I started by constructing a stick-figure of my favourite weasel as it stood in the reference photo. I'm not sure if that in itself made any difference, but I'm happy with the result :-)

I managed to get 40 figures done before I had to go to work today! Hooray! I'll hit today's 100 with time to spare!

When I joined the streak, it was ending in 50 seconds.

So, I opened flash, whipped out my wacom tablet, doodled this hasty drawing of a would-be Homer Simposon for your viewing pleasure.

I call this my Light Speed drawing.

No, I'm not proud of it.. but, hey, I made the streak just under the wire!
