This is a concept for an alien gateway as part of a 3D environment assumptive.

For every one of these croquis sessions I upload here, there are usually three others I do in that day in my gigantic sketchbook. I spent most of today en route, at and leaving the remote Microsoft campus in Malvern, PA for a meetup concerning universal Windows 10 apps. I'm very interested in making some little utilities, and if I one day get experienced enough, perhaps a pixel art focused art program. I go to meetups at this Microsoft campus fairly regularly, but today was the first time I ever saw another black person there. A man and his son - we looked at one another with that look only shared between black folks with no one else around like them - that "oh snap it's not just me?" kind of look. He makes apps, his son is learning to do the same. It's always nice to see someone like me in these places -- I first started coming to Microsoft Malvern with my dad too.
