Not My Convo; save the lascivious old rich men, or watch their doom unfold.
Narrative:
You play someone on their way to their job on a Saturday morning, when suddenly you get a provocative text from a stranger. It's simply an image of a girl hiding her face, and as your character is pondering why they're receiving this message, the girl gets a response from an older looking man. You suddenly realize that you're not meant to be part of this conversation.
Another conversation window opens up, it's the girl again, seemingly messaging her friend this time about the man that just responded. "We've got him" she says. You find yourself in the middle of what appears to be a cat fishing operation on social media, but have accidentally been added to the list of recipients. Soon the conversations turn darker and darker, and these catfish seem to want much more than simply money.
They're preparing some kind of dark ritual for, or experimentation on, wealthy old men. Something about the pursuit of ascension, an ancient text or two are referenced, it's whatever. And it's up to you to use the cryptic catfish' texts to save these men from their eminent misfortune. Or not, you can decide.
Gameplay:
Play the role of the Rich man's bane or Rich man's savior, as you learn about the targeted men of this operation, and decide whether on not they're worth your effort saving. Decode the identities of the catfish, get to the bottom of the mystery.
It's basically more like an adventure game, where you travel to different locations in your city to find out the identities and backstories of everyone involved. And make the crucial decisions leading to a few unique endings, some good, some bad. Decisions will unfold in dialogue choices with other characters, actions towards certain situations, people and objects. This decisions would ideally be informed by what you find out with your investigative mind. But you could also just ignore the backstory and make funny things happen.
You're a fly on the wall, but a very important fly.
(image edit by me, blood splatter found here; http://sagacious.deviantart.com/art/Blood-Splatter.... // Tweet used found here; https://twitter.com/bleopatra/status/7481628697248....)
Come into contact with old entrepreneurs, important political figures, royalty from distant lands, hasbeen celebrities, deranged sociopaths, sex workers, witches, questionably intelligent children with no pupils and perhaps even your (character's) own friends and family to crack the ritual secrets, and perhaps even "ascend" yourself.
This is just inspired by the threads of cat fishing that goes on throughout my Twitter feed (I follow some interesting folks). They seem like little gangs, and so I decided to turn that into a game, only the gang is some dark cult set on the pursuit of knowledge through the sacrifice of old, rich men.
My reason for including old rich men, is that they're typically introduced as the least blameless people in the modern world. It will be interesting to see how players would react to scenarios that might involve having to save them, if the contrary doesn't rub them the right way.
This would be a game set for any platform really. The controls would be quite difficult to make unintuitively. Aimed at teens and above for mature content (like cat fishing and ritual sacrifice to name a few).
A survival game focused on gathering and allocating resources, Robbing Peter has the player alternate between the two activities to try and maintain a haggard community in the aftermath of a disaster. The player gathers resources by searching various local areas which are divided into distinct levels which have other settlements, survivors, and their valuables. In these levels the player must pick up as many valuable items as possible while avoiding hazards and other survivors, unless they want to risk spending or losing precious resources to overcome them. The player then returns to their community of survivors and must decide on what to do with the gathered resources. The different members of the community are valuable in different ways, some are traders, some can help the player on excursions gathering, and others are needed to protect the community. All of these people need food, medicine and shelter to survive, and some of them also have partners and children who have these needs as well. However, these things are scarce and dangerous to gather, and it will be extremely difficult for the player to satisfy everyone's needs. Those that aren't paid or given enough resources will eventually leave, steal, or starve. There is only so much time in a given day, and the player must be careful to spend it as efficiently as possible between gathering outside and performing other jobs maintaining the community.

Imagine this; its summer break, school is out and exams are over! Why not let off some steam enjoying some well -deserved time out with family. Better yet, why not visit the best amusement park in the world; Casa de la Muerte. You're living it up, enjoying the night rides with your family, laughing and joking around and I mean who wouldn't? Then you hear a sound that resembles a gunshot, but quickly dismiss it thinking it could be anything because well…you're in an amusement park, everything loud can easily sound like a gunshot. Until you hear the sounds of people screaming in horror, the kind of scream that is distinctively different to the sounds of screams of excitement from the people on the rides. When you realize what is actually happening the period of happiness and family enjoyment abruptly ends. Troops of skilled gunmen enter the grounds opening fire upon all those within sight. Now what started off as a family vacation has now become a game of survival. The question is…are you capable of protecting your family from the animosity lurking around the grounds.
The aim of the game is to manoeuvre around the amusement park with the company of your family of 4 to try and find a safe path out to escape, as if moving alone wasn't hard enough. The entire gameplay will see your player and company moving while crouched behind objects of various sizes to avoid being caught, consequently restricting you of fast movements. Any sound audible from the microphone will alert the gunmen of your location and therefore end your attempt of escaping, this includes heavy breathing, accidental clash with objects etc. If caught, you and your family are quickly executed and the corpses are brought to the main corpse pile for the mass sacrifice (sinister right?) so obviously, game over. However if your journey is successful you have completed the game…for now.
The game is to be played on PlayStation 4 [with headset].

Admiralty! is a Naval Warfare based Real Time Tactical game based around the command and control of historical warships to win engaging campaigns. Unlike other Historical games where a player takes command over a single ship or merely stat-checks battles, Admiralty! would feature Real Time Combat between warships in a variety of different situations, with a player having to understand their ships and how to use them effectively in battle against their foe, creating an immersive atmosphere. Would you take a Battleship to fight a Battlegrouping of Cruisers, or have Destroyers attempt to pick away at the enemy from stealth? Due to the basis on Real Life historical Warships and Locations, players could not only pursue fantasy battles in which they could pit famous ships such as the Imperial Japanese Yamato SuperBattleship againts the British Vanguard, but they could also seek to recreate historical battles in a cinematographic fashion. Admiralty! would be based heavily on massive fleet action and management of ships within battles, and on proper tactical use of available resources in battle.

White Coat Cleaning Services
"White Coat Cleaning Services" is a mobile game where you are an employee of an elite private cleaning company who is called out do various jobs at various locations. These "jobs" are a bit more unique than your run of the mill cleaners job though, your companies clients are hit men/women and your job consists of bagging/disposing of the corpses and picking the right solvent to clean the blood off different materials (such as title, wood, carpet, etc). To clean the surface the player will rapidly swipe left and right all over the blood. The better the solvent for that surface which is chosen for the job, the more effective the swiping will be at cleaning away the blood. All of this is done "on the clock", you are rushing against a timer to do the job as effectively as possible, if you fail to complete the job in the set time frame you will be caught by the authorities and the your client will be caught due to the remaining evidence. This is not good for business, so it's all about knowing your cleaning products and being ready for any scale of blood bath, anywhere.
Mechanics: Body Bags, Selecting different cleaning solvents, swiping to clean, etc.
Objective: Dispose of the bodies and effectively clean up all the blood within the set time frame
Target Audience: Mature 16-24 years, Male and Female

A text-based building simulator, using the same ways of navigation as your average text based adventure game, but instead of a massive story, you are prompted to start building a different building that a customer would like, but giving a very vague description of it. The player will be allowed to choose which material to use when building different parts of the house and how high or wide for example. The game would feature a massive variety of options for materials and the building blocks, allowing full flexibility to the building process. So by the end of the level the game would present you with a pixellated version of the player's house, showing the masterpiece in its full glory. The game would also feature an offline multiplayer between two players, where they battle it out for a better suiting house for one customer. And it would be up to the A.I. to make the final decision, whether the house was good or not!

///The Empty Sheath\\\
//Synopsis\\
The Empty Sheath is a French-Elizabethan turn-based dueling game, where you are on a conquest to strike down the cheating Les Nabis and recover the Prince's hereditary Sword. In this land of swords, the shortest blade is king. A small blade shows skill, status, and experience, as the wielder must thrust themselves into the arms of death to emerge victoriously. In the world where a sword is as standard as shoes, the one handling the shortend must be the best; else they would not be alive to wield it anymore. A duel is equal to a handshake here in Joyeuse; duels are performed with elegance and harmony, both for recreation and desecration. Though not always fatal; it is not uncommon to live and die by the sword. Those vying for fame or glory are quick to be those who fill the catacombs, the Oldtimers, however, scarred from toe to head, have fought, struggled, and triumphed for generations.
Vivonne was one such Oldtimer, known as a Shortsharp for the use of a short blade. She was Prestigious beyond measure, having defeated more than a hundred adversaries in her lifetime. Those young and old have tried to conquer her and usurp her place on the top of the ladder. Another such contestant appeared at her home in Joyeuse, but he did not have a longsword nor rapier nor even a shortsword; his sheath was empty. Embroidered with jewels, lined with real gold, and ornately engraved, the sheath was spectacular but incomplete without a blade to complete it. Baroque was his name, an enigmatic figure and Prince from the North. He pleads Vivonne to aid him in the blade's recovery, lost from a duel with Salvator, the leader of Les Nabis, the self-proclaimed Prophets of Swordsmanship. They set upon the warpath of recovery, Vivonne hoping that this victory will complete the final chapter of her life.
//Analysis\\
An Elizabethan Fencing, duelling, and sword fighting game, Vivonne, the protagonist, must face, compete, and overcome competitors to protect her Prestige and legacy. The martial arts showcased in the Empty Sheath are of historical European (HEMA) origin, so don't expect Samurais swinging Katanas around.
Players take turns in a paper-scissors-rock turn-based duel: Opponents begin opposite one another in "En Garde", the base stance, then must choose to either attack, defend, counter, or flee. When both players have chosen their desired movement, they will commence their chosen move. If they are too slow, they will forfeit their move while the opponent can proceed to make their move regardless. Competitors win by either reaching the hitpoint limit, having their opponent flee, or killing them.
Defeating an opponent by murder, pommel throw, or other nefarious ways, tarnishes her reputation and Prestige, while disarms, having the opponent yield, or hitting a perfect sequence of strikes, raises her Prestige. With a high Prestige, Vivonne fights more skillfully, smartly, and with finesse, while having low Prestige causes her to fight more cunningly, and fight dirty, but make some mistakes.
In conclusion, the story follows Vivonne, an aged master swordswoman looking to expand her legend into new lands, and Baroque, the descendant of a royal bloodline, who wagered his sword in a duel over his life. He has sought the master swordswoman as she is the only chance that he has at retrieving the Sword, and wishes to be trained by her.

Different characters can be played with their significant other character also being chosen by the player. After completing a stage successfully, you earn points which can be used in order to purchase cosmetics in-game.

A sponsor sport, with tighter times attracting bigger bucks, tempting players by offering large sums which can be used to buy mods to increase the athletes speed, endurance, jump, fall height. The sponsors may offer larger sums if the athlete allow themselves to be handicapped, being weighted down or arms tied so they cant climb properly

This game would be more of an educational way to teach people the basics of programming. It would play with different levels of difficulty to cater to one's skill level.
The player would be faced with different pieces of code, broken up missing pieces of the program that would make it work. For beginners, you would only need to fill in one or two words or functions, but as the player gets more experience, more and more starts disappearing.
At the end of each level (split into multiple different pieces of the code), every piece would be put together to show the working code in a game. As you progress, the game gets more and more complex, and at the end the player would get to play a fully working, albeit not being very customisable, game.
The game would be available on tablets and phones, as well as on browsers as an educational game to gamify learning how to code. The game could even be broken into different packs to cover different subjects and games.

You are a mighty Roman gladiator given the task of finding all the children that have run and hid away because it is supper time and the cook is terrible.
How do you play you might ask? Search for as many children as you can find before time runs out, be careful not to harm or injure the children in any way, harming to many children and sending them to the nurse before they can eat supper is considered bad and will result in lost lives.
If the children evade you until the time runs out and the cook finds out children went hungry and food was wasted then you better hope you were not having anything spicy for dinner that evening. Because it is going all over you.
Apprehend the children by exploring the map and searching through houses (don't worry, you are a gladiator no one is going to argue with you) bushes, trees, anywhere you could hide!

Fortsmith Village Retirement Home.
The Chambers family have had enough. They simply cannot take care of Grandpa Murray anymore. It's time they put him in the Fortsmith Village Retirement Home
Following his first night at Fortsmith Village Retirement Home, Murray has decided he wants to go for a walk outside. But at this particular retirement home, the elderly patients are not allowed to leave the grounds.
You play as Murray. Your goal is to navigate your way out of the home in order to go for a nice walk to the park.
This task isn't as simple as it may appear though.
You must use your 'Nam combat skills and your wicked walking stick to fight your way to the entrance, against increasingly difficult enemies ranging from Old Betty Sue, a mentally deranged woman who fights with her dentures, to the steroid jacked security guard whose goal is to beat on anyone trying to leave in order to solve his own personal insecurities and fuel his raging ego.
After completion of the game, the player will be viewed with a cut scene showing Murray being brought back to the retirement home by the nurses, pumped full of meds, and sat in a wheel chair next to a window.
The primary reasoning for the game is to highlight mental deterioration that occurs within the senior citizen community. Showing the emotional impact and confusion that can be caused by not being able to do something as simple as go for a walk or drive a car.

Perform a bunch of acts to keep the person you are babysitting entertained. there will be a lot of variations as to who you babysit. Before you start baby sitting, the parents will give you a bunch of tips, and traits about the child you babysit in order to get an understanding of what the child wants. these things will be displayed on a piece of paper in your pocket. the age may vary between toddler and around 13.
there will be a lot of things to be judged on.
for example:
1) Finding the right TV channel for them. For this mini game, the score will be marked on the time it takes to find the channel, and the accuracy of the channel you choose as there will be 10 channels and each one will have a different mark out of 10.
2) Making a drink for the kid and you have to make it based on what the parents told you.
The game will be a 3D, 3rd person/1st person (undecided) free roaming game within the restraints of the house. How the game will work is that once you have to babysit the child, the kid may want to watch TV and as soon as the kid tells you this, the timer will start and you have to first find the TV, turn it on and once you have selected the channel, there will be something telling you that you have completed your task. then soon afterwards it may demand a drink, so you have to go to the kitchen and prepare something which could be simple or elaborate depending on the child's traits.
there could also be chaotic children that are complete nutcases to deal with which are only good children when their parents are home, so the tips are completely useless.
There will also be a total timer before the parents come back, so the more things you can do, the better the score.
The total score you achieve will be shown when you finish babysitting.
