DC is a challenging place to photograph for me because there's so much interesting architecture and obvious photos of statues and monuments and the like that it distracts me from what I really care about, which is people. But I'm trying not to let perfect become the enemy of good... I want to take more good photos but it's okay that I still take eh photos.

Tried my hand at using my camera's multiple exposure mode... couldn't quite figure out how to make it work here, but I learned a bit about the various blending modes.

I was at a friend's party that day so most of my photos were of people that I don't have permission to post randomly on the internets!! Enjoy bike instead!!!

And with that, I am "up to date". Looking forward to having more time to do the photos... need to change things up I think. More interesting locales perhaps.

There are many churches here. I feel compelled to photograph them sometimes

Not sure if this is how you arrange the lights but oh well

I don't know why I took this one. The light was kinda nice? The colors were pastel-ey? I feel like I see a lot of these photos while walking around but they never come out especially interesting

hello good people I am no longer going through a big move so I can post again! gonna backfill a few days and we'll see if they're any good (but probably not :) :) )

I am bad at seeing abstractly and mostly see very literally... it's rare that I see a scene and feel intuitively whether to try to capture it in an alternative manner, but I'm trying to experiment more
