thinking about the unsubtle art. expressive* works with pop-sensibilities. punk inspired with no ethos. oh well.

take a sit, breath, and sink into this glorious conceptual photography work. ask the cute guide next door for some brilliant contextual analysis and a small lick

@(: TRIES TOO HARD- THEY TELL THE AUDIENCE: ATTEMPTING TO CREATE PROPHECY; DIVINE THE OPPOSITION AND DEFLECT IT BEFORE IT STRIKES IN ORDER TO CREATE THAT OPPOSITION WHICH WAS DEFLECTED. AUDIENCE AND ARTIST: THE BIGGEST LIE EVER TOLD. IF THE ART IS TRYING TOO HARD, WHY IS THE AUDIENCE NOT STRAINED AND SWEATING, SHOUTING, POINTING FINGER (A VIOLENT- A VIOLENT DISPLAY)? ART THAT HAS TRULY "TRIED TOO HARD" ENDS IN A ROOM FULL OF CORPSES. OVERKILL AND UTTERLY TASTELESS. BUT RIGHT NOW, AFTER ASKING FOR THE LICK, I TASTE THE CUTE GUIDE'S SWEAT WHILE MY FINGERS RUN THROUGH MOSS.
