Sadly, I was not able to make the cooking mechanics today like I wanted to due to real life stuff. All I made today was this song, which tbh, goes crazy for a silly fish game. Also, I made it so the music rises in pitch and tempo the higher your suspicion meter is.

  • Can get food out of fridge, shows food on head, can carry one at a time

  • Trash can in-case you grab wrong item.

  • Can put correct items in bag. If the item hasn't been cooked or sliced it will let you know, and if it's not in the order it will let you know.

  • Various improvements to models (someone told me they looked uncanny, I agreed)

  • Finn the Fish has alternate sprites when the Suspicion meter is above 80%.

  • Main song slightly updated

Hello! I did a lot today!
So much that I can't remember it all actually, but I'll try to go through the ones I can remember.
In the little sub-menus, I added a mouse cursor you can move around to select stuff with, the order viewer finally lets you view the order, and I added a bag infront of the window where you will put orders, also made the sky outside change from night to day cuz why not :)

(Plus a ton of bug fixes, especially with that darned cursor)

(Also yes, I know the music is too loud lol)

Hi again!
Today I added: Indication for interactable objects, when pressing space it brings up a little- uh- ""menu"". Right now the animations for the stove and sink play in a random order. Will try adding the ability to grab food out of the fridge and do stuff with them by tomorrow. I also made 2 more songs because why the heck not. Oh and I finally remembered to replace the Drive-Thru Window placeholder i guess.

hello again.
Today I made a ton of models for all the art and stuff, so now the game actually looks good, there are still a few things i gotta model, but for the most part it's all finished. I added a Drive-Thru window, where customers can pull up and order, made a song that repeats in the background, although I'm most likely going to replace it, added a meter on the side of the screen that slowly ticks up, this is your suspicion meter, and I also added Finn the Fish.
I will begin working on the cooking part of the game tomorrow.

IF ANYONE SAYS SOMETHING MEAN TO FINN THE FISH, YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYERS.

The basic idea of the game is you are a fish in a kitchen, and you're trying not to get caught. You have to cook meals quick so you don't get caught, but you don't want to mess any orders up either. And since you are a fish every now and then you have to spend precious time in the sink so you don't die of suffocation.
Right now I just have the movement, camera, and a ton of placeholder art.
