the story i've been working on has taken a wildly different direction. it started as a pokemon fanfic, but slowly i'm working on changing it to its own original idea
so i'll probably start re-designing or reworking the designs of characters that started as ideas from that fanfic. below is just a rough sketch of jade, the main character for this story
working out how i want these different alien species to look. sorta liking the bird-looking one. its growing on me in a weird way

I've been fiddling with the idea of an extinct alien species with one surviving member. for some reason, I think it would be nice if they looked more bug-like, having several arms and wings and antenna like appendages. will see where it goes

@V Hm...it's going to be a fantasy story about spirits that inhabit the earth and this boy's journey to become a shaman. I imagined it took place in America during the pre-colonial era before any settlers arrived...which is why characters may look native american. That's the long and short of it.

@V Yeah! I think I'd like it to be a graphic novel or webcomic? Even when I was just writing the pokemon fanfic for funsies I had in the back of my mind that it would eventually become its own original idea. I just didn't know how I'd make that jump lol
Ooh, are you thinking of turning it a novel or web serial or something?
