is it bad that i like the sketchy look more than clean lineart?? I wanted to clean up this picture more but the sketchy rough lines add so much character to me. i couldn't bring myself to commit to doing lineart of it
additional comments: i've gotten a lot better at understanding anatomy. there are some wonks here or there but compared to where i used to be, its a huge improvement.

tablet wasn't working today, so had to go old school.
I've been fiddling with the idea of an extinct alien species with one surviving member. for some reason, I think it would be nice if they looked more bug-like, having several arms and wings and antenna like appendages. will see where it goes
