This is a game about Nedia Design School's GDP110 (Game Design Principles). The player controls students in the Bachelor of Creative Technologies and Bachelor of Software Engineering. The game is located in Auckland, New Zealand.
This is a romance/life/student/horror/school/work/don't be late to class turn based card game for 5 to 10 players, where the players are given one assignment each turn and have to complete them to continue the game, it is not guaranteed but at the end of the game, there is a story about how players are offered jobs from outside the game. Again, it's not guaranteed so don't trust me.
The roles in the game are:
Teacher, narrator: Who reads and examines the assignments and gives marks back to every player.
Students, players: Alive and playing in game.
Ghosts, players: dead players who didn't submit assignments or received D grade for their assignments.
Players who were not able to complete the assignment or didnt get above D grade are killed in various ways and becomes a ghost, not able to participate in the game for the most part.
Anyway, assignments differ every turn. The assignments ranges from writing reports, essays and debates about narratology and ludology, to writing minimum 150 words of game ideas including picture aid. Also occasionally you get to play other games.
For each assignments, the narrator/teacher marks you with A, B, C, or D, and for every mark, the player receives rewards such as offensive card(sabotage other players), defensive cards(blocks turning into a ghost), utility cards(reduces writing minimum word count), and with those rewards, they can help themselves win the game, by reinforcing themselves or sabotaging other players.
