Primordial Ark

This game is inspired by the movie Titan A.E. The game's story will follow the same conceptual idea that Earth has been destroyed and humanity has fled in every direction. One particular group has fled in radio silence avoiding any detection or leaving any traces, in order to protect a ship which holds the entire DNA structure of every animal and ecosystem from Earth. Whats even more important is that the ship was also constructed with the ability to recreate Earth. Of course the ships existence was no secret since the size of the ship was obviously seen by everyone who was launching off of Earth. From there rumours spread around between Humans keeping a small hope of returning to a place they can truly call home.

This game will not provide a lot of freedom to the player as the main aspect of this game is the story. So the actions of the player will be restricted and will follow a linear gameplay. The game will start of showing the player the backstory of how Earth advance to an age of space frontier. Meeting new alien life forms entering many diplomatic meetings and talks, establishing a union. Although the first few centuries of an golden era only proved that Humanity was just lucky to not have met with an aggressive alien race. Soon a new threat has tackled the union and an unknown alien empire has wage war and somehow have absorbed multiple of planets core energy.

Now the player would see the main character who is a captain of a cruiser sized spaceship. Being awakened by an alarm calling for a total evacuation for all civilians and follow plan Ark for all military personnel. The player will rush and see havoc as many people panic. And the player would notice the Primordial Ark which will explain that the ship is a secret project that acts like a bank. The player will find his crew members one by one on the way to his ship to immediately launch into space. As the player boards the ship and launches off he receives a transmission from his friend who is a researcher on the Ark. She informs the player that the Empire has broken the defence line by Mars and is heading for Earth. The player's goal is to hold the line on Earth waiting for the Ark to leave the solar system so the remaining military forces are able to flee. At this point the human main offensive force is at the union capital unable to come and defend Earth in time. As the Ark leaves the player immediately orders a overide hyperspace jump when their ship is mostly deactive. Seeing the alien race as a part freeform energy and part machine invading his ship as they jump into slip space and watching Earth crack into pieces.

After that scene the player is given many objectives and playing through unique and special gameplay that deals with spaceship to ship battles, hijacking new parts for the ship, meet allies, integrate new weapons and interspace station war. In some sense you could say the game's storyline behaves like Faster Than Light (FTL). Near the end the player would have meet up with the main offensive fleet which is going to eliminate the alien empire's main offensive fleet. The player would then be given the last objective which is to rush to the Arks location where its being hunted by Hunter class ships of the Empire.

The unique aspect of this game is the combination of third person perspective when flying the ship and the first person perspective when the players need to carry his objective through infantry fire fight.
