This game flips the script when it comes to horror games, this one adds a new form of survival horror as it is mainly audio based.
The player is thrust into a pitch black room, where your only ally is your sense of hearing and a stick in your hands. The player must use their stick to make noise to navigate the darkness and escape the terrors that are lurking in the shadows. The monsters in the game are blind so there is a chance for them to hear you as you make your way around and you also have a chance of hiding from them by being silent and still.
Since this game is noise based, all objects will produce different sounds so it is up to the player's general idea of material sounds to differentiate between objects, like a wood box will have a low, hollow thump, while a pipe may have a metallic, clanging sound. The only visuals in the game would be the Menus, and the credits, but otherwise there is no art style for the game. To accompany you in this game, there will be a disembodied voice on a phone that may or may not give you guidance in your efforts to escape, it is entirely up to you whether or not you want to trust it.
This game will be on a PC format, and the players will need to use the mouse to navigate and the wasd keys to move through the game.
The music in the game, will create the atmosphere, and certain music will control how the player reacts in a situation they cannot see, e.g. fast paced music may mean there is an enemy on to you, silence may mean that everything is calm.
