'Five Day Sunset' is a 2D strategy RPG for 3DS and PS Vita. The game revolves around a "solar eclipse" lasting five days, and society crumbling around the player's customized character.. The player must carefully manage his units in combat and make the right calls to get out alive.

It's 8 AM. You had promised to help out at your friend's local shop today, and you lazily get out of bed. You press on the TV's remote, expecting to hear the buzz of the static. But it doesn't turn on. The power's out. The water has stopped running, as well…

You shrug. It can't be helped. You call your friend to see if the shop's still opening but, of course, you have no service. You groan as you open your room's curtain and- the city is almost pitch black.

The shock of it all wakes you up fully. It's as if the sun has gone. You feel a chill down your neck. Grabbing a small flashlight you store for emergencies, you go to look for your friend.

As the game's story is presented through narration and still images, the player goes through various scenarios, meeting trustworthy people and eventually fighting against the desperate people that have crumbled upon the pressure of their comforts disappearing.

The game's combat sections are divided into several scenarios. The player can set the customized character plus any story-acquired allies in a top down view map, and then use them to engage with other rioting citizens. Every character has their own individual stats.

When the player isn't fighting, several questions and points testing morals come up, and the answers can result in unnecessary (or necessary) fights that can even kill off party members!

Do your best to survive until the sun comes out again.
