As every good computer hacker knows, the best way to hack stuff is off your phone, using a virtual sprite to run past the anti virus defenses set around the screen, in positions just perfect enough for you to squeeze past. In a game inspired by the world's hardest game, the player must use touch controls off a mobile device to 'hack' into WiFi signals that their phone is in range of, giving players the illusion of actually hacking stuff. Puzzles will resemble the game Duet (picture below) which will allow players to navigate a scrolling puzzle with touch. However, as the players 'hack' into these connections, 'hidden' files are revealed to them unlocking the next chapter with each successful 'hack'. Hack Me Softly will focus more on it's story telling capabilities, more so than its actual game play.
Players will eventually uncover the story of Hack Me Softly centered around the Illuminati (obviously) and their actions and influences over history, ultimately telling the story of how this anonymous organization has guided us into the world we live in today, which of course can all be found on WiFi connections scattered around...
