Story:

You've heard the stories before. About a "thing" in the forest called the Rake. Of course, you've never believed in it before and honestly why should you? In a daring attempt to prove your point you head out into the woods and try to go one night without suddenly "disappearing".

If only it was as simple as disappearing.

Gameplay:

Through the hunter's eye is a 1^st person horror survival game where the player plays through the perspective of "The Rake". The rake is an eyeless entity that captures their preys to take their eyes. Once the eyes have been removed, the rake gives the victim a chance to escape but chases them down relentlessly. Since the rake has the player's eyes, the player is able to see their own character through the perspective of the rake which is chasing them. The objective of the game is too successfully escape (You don't get your eyes back sorry), and the player loses if "The rake" kills the player.
