Two Hundred and Fifty Seven Seconds. That's how long you have to live. Every second, ticking down. And the only way to add more time, is Blood. Blood Samurai is a third person linear hack/slash video game, set during the great Onin War. You are a Samurai, lead by the Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimi. It is the 3rd year of this great war, to decide who will succeed Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa. As you ride in to battle, your horse gets shot by an arrow, and you tumble off it, into a small crevasse. There, you find the stuff of nightmares; an Oni. But rather than kill you, it curses you. You are given great strength, speed, stamina and endurance, far beyond that of a mortal man, but at a cost: you have Two Hundred and Fifty Seven seconds left to live, unless you take a life. A single soul is worth but sixty seconds. You have become a Blood Samurai. You ascent to the surface, to find the battle raging around you. It is up to you to decide what happens next. Do you continue to fight for Ashikaga Yoshimi, cutting down all who oppose him? Do you commit Seppuku, out of shame of what you have become? Or will you take the lives of everyone before you, killing indiscriminately, in your quest for everlasting life through blood? How long will you survive, as the Blood Samurai?
